The University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS) is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary university. Created in 1965, it is located throughout the Alpes-Maritimes department, in Nice, Cannes, Menton, Grasse and is a key player in the Sophia Antipolis technology park. She has been a member of the Comue Université Côte d'Azur (UCA) since 2015. Each year, it welcomes more than 29,000 students and has nearly 2,770 teaching and non-teaching staff, including 1,160 teacher-researchers and tenured teachers in 9 Training and Research Units, 2 Institutes, and 2 Schools (Polytech Nice Sophia, Ecole Supérieure du Professorat et de l'Education).
