The members of our team have an average of 15 years of experience in the field of basic research of microbial virulence factors, therapeutic targets in inflammatory signaling, and the diagnosis of infectious diseases. Regarding the DimiCare Biotech project, we have very important expertise in the discovery of new anti-infection therapies, screening of synthetic and natural compounds for their antimicrobial activity and toxicity, on human and murine cells lineage and primary, as well as on in vivo models. We have also developed a pathogenic strain training system to identify the rate of resistance (the probability of creating new resistances in the future), as well as to create new resistant mutants. Interestingly, this method seems to be useful for antimicrobial compounds, but also for other types of compounds.
